then there are these babies.
i know it looks like Houndoom shush!
currently there is only one in existence. it was created before Death could control her powers and it is just a soulthirsty beast. unlike the other forms of Hellhounds (who don't need anything to survive) this kind devours the souls it's supposed to collect.
Death must feed it or it will go after the other Hellhounds for their souls.
the bangles on its ankles reign in its power so it doesn't run wild and hurt anyone.
it's really just a precaution.
Death can command it to do anything, she is the only one it will obey.
she can't remember who's soul was put into it in the beginning* and she feeds only the most evil people's souls to it so they never get reincarnated.
(i.e. Dahmer, Hitler, Stalin, etc.)
she's lovingly nicknamed it 'Tyrant' but she only lets it out if she's feeling particularly vindictive. (which is almost never nowadays)
*i haven't decided if i want it to be Pontius Pilate orrr Vlad Dracula. hmm, im leaning towards Vlad, because he was fucking awesome. but im not sure yet.im sure it'll get its own little backstory anyway so :P
didn't intend to have it totally thought out to be honest.
